Frankfurt verlängert Vertrag mit Rechtsverteidiger Chandler

Timothy Chandler, who was born in Frankfurt, has extended his contract with Eintracht Frankfurt until the end of the 2024-25 season. The Bundesliga club announced this on April 18th. Chandler expressed his excitement about continuing to represent the club, stating that Eintracht Frankfurt is his home and second family. He looks forward to wearing the eagle crest again in the upcoming season.

Chandler initially joined Eintracht Frankfurt at the age of 10 and progressed through the club’s youth system before moving to Nuremberg in 2010. After spending four seasons there, he returned to Frankfurt in 2014. During his time with the club, he played a key role in their victories in the German Cup in 2018 and the Europa League in 2022. The club’s board member for sport, Markus Krösche, praised Chandler as a role model and an important player, particularly for the younger members of the team. He commended Chandler’s positive energy and ability to motivate others both on and off the field.
