Aberdeen gegen Eintracht Frankfurt: TV-Sender, Anstoßzeit, Schiedsrichter, VAR und mehr, wenn die Dons die Conference League-Kampagne auf hohem Niveau abschließen möchten

Muss lesen

Aberdeen will be looking to end their European campaign on a high note when they face Eintracht Frankfurt at Pittodrie in their final game of the UEFA Europa Conference League. After dropping into the competition following a defeat in the UEFA Europa League play-off round, Aberdeen have struggled to make an impact in Group G, with just three points from five matches against Frankfurt, PAOK, and HJK Helsinki.

Despite an early exit from the Conference League, Aberdeen have the opportunity to finish their first campaign in a European competition group stage in 16 years positively with a rematch against 2022 Europa League winners Frankfurt. The Dons put on a strong performance in the matchday one encounter in Germany, but Frankfurt will come into the game with confidence following a 5-1 victory over Bayern Munich.

With both teams having nothing to play for in terms of progressing in the competition, Aberdeen may rotate their squad to prepare for a crucial upcoming match against Rangers in the final of the Viaplay Cup. The match against Frankfurt will take place on Thursday, December 14 at 5.45pm at Pittodrie and will be televised by TNT Sports in the UK.

Portuguese referee Miguel Bértolo Nogueira will officiate the game, with support from fellow officials from Portugal and Cyprus. Aberdeen may consider resting star player Bojan Miovski, who suffered a minor injury in the previous match, to ensure he is fit for the upcoming cup final against Rangers. The opportunity to give fringe players some minutes may also be taken by manager Barry Robson to manage the squad effectively.
