Chris Kamara, everyone’s favorite football pundit, recently had a heartwarming moment with fans before England’s Euro 2024 match against Denmark. Kamara, 66, was diagnosed with Apraxia two years ago, a speech disorder that has affected him. Despite this, he remains a beloved figure, having served nearly 30 years as a commentator on Sky Sports alongside Jeff Stelling on Soccer Saturday.

In 2022, Kamara had to leave his role on Sky Sports due to an underactive thyroid diagnosis that affected his speech. However, he was touched by the warm reception he received from England fans as he walked through Frankfurt before the match against Denmark. Kamara shared a short clip on Twitter, expressing his gratitude for the fans’ support. The fans could be heard affectionately shouting his nickname “Kammy” and his infamous catchphrase “unbelievable Jeff,” which he coined while working with Stelling.

Despite stepping back from his role at Sky Sports, Kamara has continued to work in the media as the host of ITV’s Ninja Warrior UK and co-host of the BBC’s Proper Football podcast with Ben Shephard. In recognition of his anti-racism and charity work, Kamara was awarded an MBE in 2022. Fans continue to show their love for Kamara, with many expressing their admiration for him on social media and praising his character and contributions to football punditry.
