Maja Wolff, known for her involvement in cultural activities such as the Green Sauce Festival, is running for the office of Mayor of Frankfurt with the aim of bringing a fresh start to the city. As a non-partisan Frankfurt native, she has been actively engaged in various functions within the city for many years. Since 2009, she has been managing director of the Grüne Soße Festival GmbH, helping the festival achieve nationwide recognition. In addition, she has been involved in social cultural projects through the cultural association Art-Q e.V., providing a platform for socially disadvantaged individuals. Maja Wolff is also a member of the General Assembly of the Frankfurt Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

According to Maja Wolff, Frankfurt’s diversity is a source of strength and potential, but the city is facing significant social, environmental, and economic challenges that require cooperation across party lines and strong, impartial leadership. She emphasizes the need for the mayor to lead with an awareness that these challenges can only be addressed through collaborative efforts. With the deselection process in November, the citizens will have the opportunity to decide if they are ready for necessary change in the city.

Maja Wolff’s background includes training as a medical assistant, followed by a career as an actress and cabaret artist. She has also studied social work at the University of Applied Sciences in Frankfurt and completed in-service training as a drama and theater therapist. In 2006, she obtained a Heilpraktiker degree in psychotherapy, followed by a degree as a systemic therapist in 2011. Her diverse education and experiences provide her with a unique perspective to address the challenges facing Frankfurt as a potential candidate for Mayor.
